Few anti tobacco messages through which almost all us come across are — smoking kills you, smoking is injurious for your health, it can cause cancer and can cause harm to your family but who cares, just only few people. Everyone is fully aware of these facts but still it is mentioned on packets as precautionary measures.

It will kill anyone whether you are active or passive smoker but no one is ready to stop smoking and they even don’t think of getting rid of this bad habit. In reality there is no NON-SMOKER, as all of us in this world are forced to take in one or different kind of smoke passively like smoke from industries, vehicles and even the smoking human beings. Smokes from industries, vehicles, couldn’t be avoided and we don’t have any option to save us from that so at least we should keep in check smoking humans.

Government should bring law to ban these smoking products, but they are happy by asking makers to put an informative label on cigarette packets that smoking is injurious to health. Their responsibility ends here as they are allowing the sale of such products with a tagline, it’s now up to humans to take it or ignore it.

Well it really shocking that Indian women ranks third in the world when it comes to cig puffing. According to the recent reports of Tobacco Atlas, India gets third position among top 20 women smoking inhabitants round the world. Smoking is becoming popular among young college going and working women, its shows how tobacco industry is deepening its niche among Indian females. The problem is getting serious, strong steps should be taken to correct it.

According to several studies

Tobacco intake can reduce birth weight of the fetus, decrease their gestational age which may lead to premature delivery, increases the danger of still births and can raise the risk of anemia among pregnant women.

Our government is not also getting serious on anti-tobacco movements which would be mainly targeted at Indian females to arise and awaken them against the ill effects of smoking. Well, anyone who smoke should try to quit smoking as our future in our own hands and only we are going to cause harm to it, so better try to mend ourselves it before it gets too late.

Well, guys males have all rights to puff anywhere they want but females are not allowed for same. Don’t get shocked reading this, its strange but true, this incident happened in metro city Mumbai on July 1st. Legally there is no such boundation, we have rights to do whatever we want (any one whether male or female) unless until it’s not affecting others or nation.

When an employee of an ad agency came out of her worli office with a colleague for a cigarette break, she has to face such disgusting thing. She would not have thought of this in her wildest dream. She and her friend just started with their cigarette, suddenly few people came and warned the duos not to smoke on the pavement of Sir Pochkhanwala Road - where just males are allowed to puff and they also called up police control room informing about women puffing at men’s place.

Later police visited their office for telling the same that they cannot puff over there. Mallika Rao, 24, said that she has seen so many police officers puffing at the same place why not us. After that cops stated that only males can smoke over there, females are not allowed. Strange isn’t it, what u guys say?

It’s really annoying incident for the women who use to puff. Just double standards on the part of cops. if they were doing something wrong or illegal than there is legitimate reason to stop them smoking. But it’s really mean what they did, they harass females without an appropriate reason.

The question arises is that - being a woman one cannot puff while men have all the rights to smoke anywhere they want, this is just the gender bias decision of few nonsense people but it should not be tolerated.

A recent comment by Chief Minister of a state, V.S. Achuthanandan has raised anger among the people all over the country, at this particular time it was better for him to keep his mouth shut on Mr. K. Unnikrishnan refusal to meet him as he should understand the depth of situation through what a father is going on. But great CM of Kerala had made such comment that anyone would feel hurt and a feeling of disrespect comes in heart for Mr. CM.

In his own words - “If this had not been the house of Major Sandeep, not even a dog would have glanced that way.”

When chief Minister was not allowed to get inside Major Sandeep’s house, who had lost his life fighting with terrorists in Mumbai than he made this annoying comment on the family of Major Sandeep’s family. In addition to this when he was asked to say sorry for his recent comment he simply denied to say sorry. It shows how politicians tried to get benefit from certain situations and when they don’t get the profit they burst out with such comments (any one can see the reaction in his words), it’s really ridiculous on his part how he can make such statement.

When he don’t have any feeling for Unnikrishnan’s family for what he went to sympathize, just only to raise vote bank, it’s the only reason why Major Sandeep’s father denied to meet him because he don’t want politics on his son’s death. He just showed his anger at the politicization of his son’s sacrifice by our great politicians for their personal benefits.

Everyone demanding that Cm should resign but let’s see what would happen to it, parties like BJP are also demanding such things, Railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav too wants his resignation but these politicians in one way or the other are same. BJP vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi had made awkward comment on ladies who gathered together in order to pray for those people who lost their life in the Mumbai attack on 26th Nov.

The statement which he made in conversation with a news channel is like this: “Some ladies wearing lipstick and powder have taken to roads in Mumbai and are insulting our politicians, as a result they are spreading feeling of dissatisfaction against the democracy. This is what the terrorists are carrying out in J&K.”

At least these courageous ladies are on streets for a good cause without any security, but what these politicians are doing, they don’t get out of their house without their security personals. Now we don’t need you people for us, in the present situation we all should stand together to fight with these politicians because the real terrorist are these politicians who don’t understand peoples feeling and always in mood to have benefit from many such circumstances. A lesson should be taught to these politicians that that your existence is just because of us so don’t try to become God as you are not that.
